In worm infestation: Deworming of all pigeons of the loft at the same time. | See treatment plan worm infestation | 1 capsule per bird | 100 capsules are sufficient for 100 pigeons |
Precautionary deworming: Adult pigeons: 3 weeks before mating |
If deworming is necessary during the breeding season ascapilla®+ should be administered to pigeons in the evening when feeding of the nestlings is finished.
For ease of dosing, the pigeons should be held by a second person. Moisten the capsule with vegetable oil, then push it gently through the opened beak and throat as far as possible into the gullet. Individual treatment with capsules ensures that each pigeon receives the necessary dose of ascapilla®+.
ascapilla®+ kills the larvae as well as the fully developed worms in the gastro-intestinal tract. When deworming the birds, the loft should be cleaned and disinfected. Management and feeding of the pigeons are not disturbed. |
Attention: No deworming during the main moulting season and during hatching.
